PRINCE2® Foundation sample questions
There are 3 main sources of sample questions:
- The official sample exams
- Exam simulator from PeopleCert
- Exam simulator from Accredited Training Organizations (ATOs)
IMPORTANT NOTE: Don’t practice using sample questions before finishing your studies.
1/3 — Official sample exams
There are two official sample exams offered by PeopleCert. All ATOs make these available to candidates as part of their training:
2/3 — Exam simulator from PeopleCert
PeopleCert offers two simulated exams that you can buy separately. However, we don’t recommend them because they are expensive, available for a limited time, and most importantly, don’t offer you detailed feedback, but only an overall score.
3/3 — Exam simulators from ATOs
Some ATOs offer simulated exams with detailed feedback. One of the most popular ones is the PRINCE2 Foundation exam simulator that our company offers.
Tips
The following tips can help you in your exam and it’s best to get used to them during your sample exams as well:
- Don’t practice sample exams before finishing your studies.
- Take the simulated exams with the same conditions as the real exam.
- When practicing with the exam simulators, find your gaps and read the section of the manual or wiki related to that troubling topic.
- Manage your time
- Discover how you can increase your focus and lower your stress during the exam.
- When you have problems with a question, don’t spend too much of your time and mental energy on it. Instead, mark it, proceed to the next question, and come back to unfinished questions at the end.
- Don’t leave any questions unanswered because there’s no penalty for wrong answers.
- Read the whole question and every choice before answering.
- Be careful with absolute answers that contain words like “all”, “always”, “never”, and “only”. Most of them are not good options.
