PRINCE2® certifications
There are two levels of certification for PRINCE2:
- PRINCE2 Foundation: This is the first level of certification and aimed at making sure that candidates are familiar with the terminology and can work well as a project management team member in an environment that already uses PRINCE2.
- PRINCE2 Practitioner: This is the more advanced level of certification that candidates can aim for after getting their Foundation level. The goal is to make sure that candidates know PRINCE2 enough to be able to tailor and implement it.
About 10 to 15% of people who get their Foundation certificate proceed to the Practitioner level.
For both certification programs, candidates can
- take classroom courses with accredited trainers,
- take eLearning courses, or
- do self-study.
The exam voucher must be included in classroom and eLearning courses. For candidates who self-study, they should buy the exam voucher only and take it online.
